The Tobacco Road Invitational, a joint venture
between Duke University and the University of North
Carolina at Chapel Hill, will be held on Friday,
November 9 and Saturday,
November 10, 2007. The Tobacco Road Invitational will help
prepare your team for regional competition by exposing you to top
notch competition and receiving feedback from some of the best
attorneys in the United States. We are well on our way to meeting
our goal on judges and we are confident that all four rounds will be
judged solely by legal professionals from all over North Carolina.
Registration is scheduled to begin at noon on Friday in the Great Hall on the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill's campus. The Tournament will begin with an address by North Carolina Supreme Court Justice Paul Martin Newby. The first two rounds of competition will begin at 3 pm and 7 pm on UNC Chapel Hill's campus. The next morning your teams will report to Duke's campus for the last two rounds of competition and the awards ceremony.
During the competition your teams will be able to tour both campuses and enjoy the shops and restaurants of the famed Franklin St and downtown Durham.
